Is there a sales commission?

None. You pay your monthly subscription fee, and 100% of your revenue goes straight to your business. You are only responsible for the payment provider’s transaction fees.

Does my money pass through Winslor?

Accepted Answer

No. The payment account is opened in your own name — your legal entity, your bank account — and your customers' payments land on it directly. Winslor never holds your funds and takes no commission, so we cannot delay or block a payout. Your software and your money stay two separate relationships, and that is deliberate.

How does the 3-month free trial work?

Accepted Answer

Every plan starts with a 3-month free trial, all features included. Your card is saved at signup but only charged when the trial ends. You can cancel anytime during those three months, in one click from your dashboard, at no cost.

How long will it take to set up my shop?

Your shop is ready to go: you can set it up yourself in just a few minutes via your dashboard (branding, product catalogue, payment methods, delivery). Need a hand? Personalised support is available on request.

Can I run a restaurant with Winslor?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Winslor offers two worlds: a complete e-commerce shop and a Restaurant module — digital menu by QR code, ordering and payment at the table or for takeaway, reservations, tips, compliant receipts and a synchronised kitchen screen. You choose your world when creating your account; each has its own pricing structure.

How do my customers order at the table?

Accepted Answer

They scan the QR code placed on the table: your menu opens in their browser, with no app to download. They build their order, send it to the kitchen and pay online or at the counter, in the language of their choice. You can also offer takeaway with collection slots.

Can I take reservations?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the Service plan onwards. Your customers book online from your restaurant page; you manage covers and time slots, with an optional card pre-authorisation against no-shows. Reservations appear on your floor plan and your service screen — all without commission, unlike reservation platforms.

What equipment do I need in the kitchen?

Accepted Answer

No specific terminal to buy. A simple tablet is enough: you pair it by scanning a QR code from your settings, and orders appear on it live. A kitchen screen and a service screen (dining room) are available, each with its own code — your kitchen and your waiting staff see exactly what concerns them.

Is my data hosted in Europe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your shop and your data are hosted on servers in Europe, and our service complies with the GDPR. Your data belongs to you and can be exported at any time.

What happens if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

No commitment. You can cancel with a single click. We’ll provide you with a full data export and 30 days’ notice to transfer your data.

Do I get a discount if I open several establishments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From your second establishment in the same line of business — a second shop, or a second restaurant — you get −40% for life on its subscription, applied automatically at checkout. The discount covers every additional establishment on the same account, within the same line of business.

How does Winslor handle VAT?

Accepted Answer

By default, your shop is VAT-exempt — nothing to set up. The day you start charging VAT, or sell to customers across the European Union, Winslor automatically calculates and applies the right rate, manages the OSS scheme for cross-border sales (with an alert when you reach the €10,000 threshold), and generates the per-country export for your return. No third-party app, no extra cost.

Are my invoices compliant?

Yes. Every paid order generates a numbered legal invoice — a continuous, gap-free sequence per year — with your business details and the VAT breakdown. A refund automatically issues a credit note. Everything is exportable in one click for your accountant, with no extra app.

How does shipping work?

Accepted Answer

Two options, starting from the very first plan: a simple flat rate (with free shipping above a set amount if you like), or connect your Sendcloud account (from the Business plan) to show real-time carrier rates at checkout, offer pickup points, buy and print your labels, track parcels automatically and manage returns. You also choose which countries you ship to.

Can I sell by phone, B2B or offline?

Yes. From your admin, you create manual orders (phone, in-person or B2B sales), saved as a draft if needed, then send the customer a secure payment link in your shop’s branding — they pay online and the invoice is generated automatically. Perfect for quotes, B2B sales or customers who order outside the shop.

How do returns and refunds work?

The customer requests a return from their account; you approve it and Winslor generates the return label (via Sendcloud). Once the parcel arrives, you refund in one click — a compliant credit note is issued automatically, and the refund can even be triggered on its own when the parcel is received if you enable it.

Do I still need Linktree for my Instagram bio?

No. Every business gets its own links page at its own address (your-domain.com/links): it gathers your storefront, your contact details and your social profiles — and, for a restaurant, bookings, directions and your Google reviews. Nothing to set up: it fills itself from what you have already entered and only shows what you actually offer. Included on every plan.

Is my shop well-listed on Google?

Accepted Answer

Yes: every shop is Google-ready from day one — with an automatic sitemap, enriched product listings (prices, availability and review stars displayed in search results), multilingual pages served in the correct language, and fast loading times, without you having to make any adjustments. Your search engine ranking then improves as you add content: well-written descriptions, high-quality photos and regular new additions. The shop is compatible with Google Search Console.
